This Extra Safe Space entry (and thank you for it!) reminds me of when my daughter was little and one thoughtful Mom from our group of friends would always pack individual Poland Spring bottles of vodka and hand them out at the beginning of the play/movie/dance performance/whatever kid-friendly activity we were doing that day. The level of organization was impressive!
I have definitely spiked my Dunkin' coffee before soccer games. My then husband used to coach and screamed so loudly at the team that it was the only way I could get through a match.

Been there! The vodka water bottle part, not the bringing my kids to the playground part.
Just to clarify, that’s because I don’t have kids, not because I’m a horrible person with kids that I never bring to the playground.
