I read something that stuck with me recently. Our intentions are less important than how our actions/words are received. Her comment may have been innocent, but the gut punch you felt is real. Facebook is a mess even when you try to unfriend drama and block out the bs. It seems to be where the worst of the worst find their people. In my case, I deleted several women because teenage drama is really unattractive on 45 year old women!

Facts. I keep my Facebook to stay connected to some family and old friends who don't use any other platform, but it isn't the place I spend most of my time because of exactly what you said Cate. Every time I go on Facebook I feel like I am back in high school trying to keep folks from bullying me. So when that comment was posted, I was triggered and reacted accordingly.
